Dream Big

Annual Summer Reading Program Registration begins May 20th

The library offers a summer reading program each year, designed to encourage kids to keep reading during the long school break. Children earn prizes from the library's Treasure Chest for reading books. Children of any age may sign up--children who are not reading on their own may help keep track of books read aloud to them. Stop in and register for the program beginning May 20.

 

 

Memorial Day 

    In Observation of Memorial Day Roy Estle Memorial Library will be closed on May 28 and               

          In Observation of Independence day we will be closed on July 4

 

 

                   

Seeking Library Board Member

The Library Board will have an opening for a term beginning July 2012. Interested Dallas Center residents are encouraged to stop in the library and get an application.

 

In the Loop with Sylvia

  KnittingEver wanted to learn to knit?  Join Sylvia on Saturday May 12th at 10 a.m.  Free knitting classes are available to all ages.  Needles and yarn are provided.  Sylvia Miller will provide instructions and help.   If you have projects you are working on, bring them along and knit with others.

            

 

Wii with FriendsWii WEDNESDAY

Kids 6th grade and up are invited to the library on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. for Wii gaming fun.

 

 

 

LegosLibrary Seeks Donations of Legos and Wii Games

Do you have Legos or Wii Games that your kids have out grown or are thinking of getting rid of?  Instead of throwing them out, please give them to the library. We are utilizing these in our kids programs! Thank you!

 

 

 

Get a reminder notice from us when your books are due as well as overdue!

If we have your correct email address in your library record, you will automatically receive an email reminder notice from us reminding you that your items are due. If you have borrowed books from other libraries through inter-library loan, you will receive a reminder email notification from us that the materials you borrowed are .
