The community room is available without a rental fee to local residents and non-profit groups. The community room is available to non-local residents and for-profit groups for a fee of $50.00 per day. ALL reservations require a $50.00 refundable custodial deposit.
- Please call 515-992-3185, email us at dallascenterpubliclibrary@gmail.com, or come in to reserve a room.
- Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis for both rooms.
- The community room may be reserved up to 6 months in advance.
- The community room is available seven days a week from 8:00 am - 11:00 pm.
- A room request form must be filled out and returned within 48 hours of making the reservation. Your rental fee and/or deposit must be paid the week prior to receiving the key code to open the door.
- Notify the library at least 48 hours in advance if your event must be canceled.
- The amenities in the Shelly Cory Community Room include the kitchen, stove/oven, refrigerator, projector, podium, easel. The room capacity is 229.
- A complete copy of the Meeting Room Policy will be given to you when you return your meeting room request form.
- The study room is available only during library hours.
- The study room easily accommodates 4 people.
